Join us in the Wind & Rye Kitchen for an afternoon dedicated to honing your pizza making craft and tasting the results!
Leah Scruto, award winning chef and member of the United States Pizza Team, will be here to teach you everything you need to know to create the perfect pie! Beginning with the most important component: the dough. You will learn and TASTE the difference between long and short fermented doughs, how to use a kitchen scale to get exact measurements and the best flours and yeasts needed to create the desired texture. Chef Leah will also include her tried and true Gluten Free pizza dough recipe! Next you’ll move on to the sauce and toppings. You will receive recipes and ideas for creative, seasonal toppings that will keep pizza night exciting and fresh all year round.
As always, Drinks and Dinner are included (pizza of course)
** Please note that while we will be covering a gluten free crust recipe, there will be an abundance of flour in the kitchen for this class and cross contamination can not be entirely prevented.
