Kid’s Holiday Baking Workshop

Get your young baker into the holiday spirit with
an afternoon making delicious treats in the Wind & Rye Kitchen!
This hands on cooking and baking class will be lead by Pastry Chef Laci Sandoval. The students will bake and create holiday themed cookies, cupcakes and tarts. Each child will be able to try their hand at decorating using a variety of piping tips, spatulas and other techniques. We will package up the goodies created in class, ready for gift giving or to be devoured on the car ride home. Organic, locally sourced ingredients will be used whenever possible and we will keep food dye to a minimum. For the sake of time, some items may be baked off before the class begins but each child will be able to mix at least one recipe, roll out dough and participate in lots of decorating!
No specific baking experience is required but the class will be tailored to students ages 10 years and up that are able to spend a busy afternoon alone in the kitchen.
