Handcrafted Herbal Body Care
November 17 @ 1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Join Certified Herbalist and medicine maker Colleen Bingham Solis
for an afternoon of plant-centric magic!
As creator of Sonoma County based Poppy Botanicals, Colleen is a true master of her craft and excited to share the secrets of hand made, skin and body care with three separate classes at the Wind & Rye Kitchen this fall semester.
This class focuses on the idea that like the food we eat, the ingredients used in our body care and cosmetics should be natural and recognizable. Colleen will share with students her wealth of knowledge about plants and herbs with beneficial healing qualities, including which of these plants may be found growing in our own back yards! Students will use these ingredients to create personalized topical body and skin care preparations tailored to their own unique needs and preferences.
With our dedication to sustainability, items created in class will be thoughtfully packaged up in eco friendly, reusable containers.
Every attendee will leave with their own serum, toner, salt rub and mask ready to become a part of daily self care rituals.
Organic snacks and drinks will be provided throughout class.
